Try and hold your head high and remember you didn't ask for this crappy stuff.

Tips for others on how to deal with the mental struggles of chemo/cancer:
Look at all your options and talk with everyone who has any good idea’s about fighting this hiding cowardly cancer. They have many new advances and procedures. Prostate cancer is usually a slow moving type of cancer. So weight all you treatment’s and learn all you can about what your fighting. Then make the decision based on your studies.

Prostate Cancer Symptoms:

Hard to really explain there were changes in sex, things didn’t work like it should. And one day we were driving and I had a sharp pain in the area or the prostate. Can’t think of anything else.

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects:

Retropubic Radical Protateclocy December 16 2008, Scaring and some pain when walking. Not much at all.

Hormone Therapy Description, Dates & Side Effects:

Leuprolide, Flutamide 2009 thru June 2010, At present taking some time off until PSA starts to increase. Last tested .05
on 02/12/2011.

A simpler time

This picture was taken about three weeks before my prostrate cancer discover. We were on Mount Palomar in San Diego where we live; it was a lovely sunny day with a nice little breeze. Mount Palomar Observatory is about a mile high with no houses around and Very serene that day. We didn’t have a real care in the world and laughed and played like kids again. I guess reality hates competition. All the kids have finally grown up and have there own lives and it really was a much simpler time. Ed Note:Cancer makes life so damn ass complicated It drives me crazy.
